Tech Mahindra is looking for a skilled Tech Lead specializing in ETL Testing to join our team in Pune. This role involves collaborating with development and data engineering teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of ETL processes and data flows. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, perform various types of testing, and work closely with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues. Key Responsibilities

1. ETL Process Collaboration. Work with development and data engineering teams to understand ETL processes and data flows, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
2. Test Planning and Execution. Design and execute detailed test plans for ETL processes, focusing on functional, integration, and regression testing to maintain data integrity.
3. Issue Identification. Identify, report, and address data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies in ETL workflows, working closely with development teams to resolve them.
4. Documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and documentation for ETL testing activities.
5. Data Validation. Collaborate with business analysts to understand data requirements and validate data mappings.
6. Technical Skills. Utilize SQL and scripting languages (Python/Unix) for data validation and testing.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and system stability.
8. Industry Trends. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing and data quality assurance to implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience. Proven experience as an ETL Tester or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in ETL testing tools and frameworks.
3. Technical Expertise. Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools; proficiency in SQL for data validation; familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
4. Skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication and collaboration abilities.
5. Attention to Detail. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring accuracy in data processes.
