As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow ITBM solutions, ensuring successful delivery in line with client objectives. You will provide technical leadership to your team, act as a subject matter expert, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities include
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow ITBM modules, including PPM, APM, Budgeting & Investments, Resource Management, and Timecards. Ensure that the modules are integrated seamlessly with other ServiceNow applications and 3rd-party tools.
- Provide technical and functional consulting to clients, understanding their business needs and designing ServiceNow solutions to meet those needs. Guide clients on best practices for ITBM processes, including project portfolio management, financial management, and application portfolio management.
- Lead a team of developers and consultants, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Manage and implement integrations between ServiceNow and at least 3-4 third-party tools, including popular PPM tools like Clarity, HP PPM, Microsoft PPM, or Planview.
- Ensure the development of dashboards, reports, and performance analytics within ServiceNow. Provide insights and drive continuous improvements through data-driven decision-making.
- Lead project teams using Agile or SCRUM methodology for project execution. Ensure that all deliverables meet client expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing strategic advice. Act as a technical consultant and advocate for ServiceNow ITBM best practices.
Your Background. To be successful in this role, you will have.
- 6-8 years of professional technical experience, with at least 4-6 years in an engineering and development role for ServiceNow ITBM. Experience in Solution Lead Consulting roles is highly desirable.
- Hands-on implementation experience with ServiceNow ITBM modules (PPM, APM, Timecards, Resource Management, Budget & Investments). In-depth understanding of ServiceNow ITBM lifecycle and module integration.
- Familiarity with integrating ServiceNow with third-party PPM tools such as Clarity, HP PPM, Microsoft PPM, or Planview is essential.
- ServiceNow ITBM CIS Certification (preferred) and ServiceNow System Administrator Certification. At least one PPM Certification is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments, with a strong focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Education
- A degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical training and experience.
Communication
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, provide strategic insights, and deliver presentations.
