Your Role and Responsibilities
As a System Analyst, you will.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of IT services.
- Coordinate outsourced vendors and in-house contractors to fulfill IT service delivery and operational requirements.
- Handle change requests, service requests, and production support issues, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure alignment with system objectives.
- Investigate post-production issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with vendors on preventive measures.
- Plan, execute, and support system implementations, software/hardware upgrades, and security patches.
- Oversee the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications.
- Measure, monitor, and continually improve the performance of IT services.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in Unix and Windows operating environments.
- Experience in incident management, problem management, release management, root cause analysis, and deployment.
- Understanding of SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams, and vendors.
- Knowledge of web languages (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript), databases (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL), and application servers (e.g., IIS, WebSphere Application Server).
- Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
- Self-driven, creative, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Sound understanding of systems integration in a diverse technology environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Certification or formal training in ITIL is an advantage.
