As a Staff Software Engineer - UI, you will be instrumental in the front-end development of LinkedIn's products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences while leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Front-End Ownership. Lead the front-end development for various products, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
2. Collaboration. Work closely with visual/interaction designers, engineers, and product managers to launch new features and improve existing ones.
3. Technical Implementation. Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to best practices, focusing on performance, security, and accessibility.
4. Technical Leadership. Provide guidance on engineering best practices and drive initiatives that improve engineering productivity across teams.
5. Project Management. Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, requirements, and feedback.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with:
• Semantic HTML
• CSS
• Object-oriented JavaScript
• jQuery

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as EmberJS or React.
• Proven ability to develop scalable, user-centric applications that operate 24/7.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with UI/animation frameworks and MVP application design principles.
