Job Description

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in AI/ML to join our team in Hyderabad. This role involves leading engineering efforts related to Machine Learning infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong emphasis on software design, architecture, and team leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in testing, launching, and maintaining software products.
  • 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including development, deployment, and management of ML infrastructure.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams across various time zones.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and their applications in High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads.
  • Familiarity with enterprise customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership. Hire, train, and lead a team responsible for defining reference architectures for AI/ML platforms on GCP.
  2. Solution Development. Create and deliver solutions for deploying and managing common Machine Learning and HPC systems on Google Cloud.
  3. Configuration Validation. Identify and validate valuable system and workload deployment configurations for customers.
  4. Architecture Design. Design and develop reference architectures using a range of components, including operating systems, platforms, orchestration systems, frameworks, storage stacks, and consumption models.
  5. Pipeline Management. Develop and maintain a pipeline to keep reference architectures updated with the latest AI/ML frameworks.
