The Learning and Development team at Gartner Consulting is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Specialist. This role is pivotal in providing logistical, coordination, and administrative support for learning and development initiatives within the Consulting organization. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about learning and development and is eager to support the onboarding and upskilling requirements of a dynamic organization like Gartner.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and execution of training programs as part of the larger Professional Development team.
- Manage rosters, calendars, assessments, and surveys for training programs to ensure smooth execution and evaluation.
- Administer training platform licenses and track utilization metrics to optimize resource allocation.
- Utilize performance data and metrics from learning programs to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms for the Consulting L&D Team, including loading course materials, managing content effectively, creating curriculums, and generating reports.
- Assist in instructional design activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Coordinate arrangements for online and external training sessions, ensuring seamless logistics from scheduling to post-event follow-up.
- Develop and maintain reference materials and documentation for Learning & Development initiatives.
- Track training budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for training events, including scheduling, marketing, setup, onsite support, breakdown, and post-session follow-up.
- Collaborate with other Learning Team members across Gartner departments to leverage resources and maximize training effectiveness.
- Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to enhance training programs through data-driven insights.
- Craft clear and compelling communications for various audiences, including senior leadership, to promote learning initiatives and achievements.
- Assist in updating and maintaining internal L&D web pages and information repositories.
- Collaborate closely with training developers and business partners to drive process improvements and effective communication across global geographies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with professional qualifications in the field of learning and development preferred.
- 4 or more years of experience in training coordination and support within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in survey tools such as Web Survey Creator (WSC), Google Forms, etc.
- Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Cornerstone; familiarity with Pendo, the Digital Animation Software, is a plus.
- Instructional design skills preferred, with proficiency in tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Highly organized with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across diverse geographies.
- Experience working in an agile environment is advantageous.
