Join our Territory Planning & Analytics (TP&A) Innovation team and play a pivotal role in driving sales productivity and growth. As a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager, you'll work closely with our Global Sales Strategy & Operations team to deliver valuable insights and scalable products that enhance the sales force's effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity to support key product developments and contribute to strategic initiatives at Gartner.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
- Leverage quantitative data to derive actionable insights, prioritize development, and size opportunities.
- Build consensus among product leaders, engineering, and business units on the product roadmap.
- Implement a "lean" approach to product development, validating early and iterating continuously to meet goals.
Technical Leadership
- Use qualitative feedback from users and partners to identify needs and inform product development.
- Create business requirements, define product roadmaps, and develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog refinement meetings and guide scrum teams.
Business Acumen
- Analyze and enhance existing products and processes to drive innovation and provide added value to customers and developers.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project progress and deliverables to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- 5-8 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on data products.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Strong ability to integrate feedback from various sources into product priorities and requirements.
- Experience as a product owner, guiding cross-functional teams including engineers, data analysts, and data scientists.
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle).
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications and APIs.
- Excellent project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive product features and roadmaps based on data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data science projects, such as forecasting or recommendation engines, is a plus.
