Key Responsibilities
- Project Management. Understand project scope and deliver quality output to meet scheduled timelines.
- Design and Engineering. Implement design changes and collaborate on selected design projects.
- Review and Analysis. Evaluate drawings for GD&T compliance and analyze fits and clearances to ensure optimal design.
- 3D Modeling. Develop detailed 3D solid models and assemblies for design components.
- Documentation. Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including bill of materials.
- Collaboration. Interact effectively with team members and lead CAD activities, utilizing support resources as needed.
- Testing and Safety. Conduct product and system-level testing in the engineering laboratory, adhering to safety practices and guidelines.
- Change Management. Independently manage Engineering Change Requests/Notifications.
- Quality Assurance. Align with quality processes, ensuring on-time delivery and high standards of work.
- Metrics Reporting. Generate project metrics in accordance with EIC-Pune and Business Unit guidelines, reporting activities to local management.
- Initiatives Participation. Support assigned initiatives from EIC-Pune and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Learning. Embrace opportunities for learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant design exposure in the Valve Domain, preferably with solenoid valves.
- Software Proficiency. Expert-level skills in Creo and familiarity with PDMLink practices.
- Technical Knowledge. Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance studies, and international standards, along with in-depth knowledge of solenoid valves, relief valves, pneumatic valves, and shutoff valves.
- Manufacturing Insights. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, forging, casting, stamping, and plastic molding.
- Communication Skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ethics and Values. Commitment to upholding company values and ethics, with a willingness to learn.
