Job Description

Emerson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. DevOps Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of recent experience in Azure DevOps, Docker containerization, Kubernetes (EKS), MongoDB, Linux, and Cloud Administration (AWS IAM, EKS, EC2, VPC, etc.). This role involves leading the creation and deployment of bundles for various releases, installation support, and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  1. Bundle Creation & Deployments. Oversee the creation and deployment of bundles for various sprint, QA, and validated releases, ensuring customer-specific deployments are handled with expertise.
  2. Installation Support. Provide installation support for customers and assist in Dev/QA/Val/Performance testing.
  3. CI/CD Pipeline Management. Build and maintain repositories and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless integration and delivery.
  4. Infrastructure Maintenance. Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms, including AWS cloud and MongoDB.

Qualifications

  • Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MSc / MCA (Computer Science/IT) is required.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of overall relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in Microservices-based Architecture.
  • Proficient in Cloud Administration, particularly with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience in enterprise SSO integration (SAML, OAuth).
  • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Configuration and management of MongoDB clusters.
  • Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services (IAM, VPC, security groups, domain management).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with life sciences process specification and recipe management.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience in regulated industry projects.
  • A drive for automating repetitive tasks (e.g., scripting with Bash, Python).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
