Job Description

Gartner is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Data Analyst to join our Global Real Estate team. As a key player in our transformative efforts, you will support strategic and operational initiatives focused on optimizing our office footprint in a hybrid work environment across 100 countries. This role will be pivotal in driving data-driven decisions and enhancing operational efficiency through advanced analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Strategy

  • Develop and implement data quality controls, management strategies, and appropriate data hierarchies to support Global Real Estate.
  • Ensure data accuracy across multiple systems and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues or integrate data into analytics systems.
  • Conduct data manipulation, aggregation, and entry to support real estate decision-making.
  • Create and maintain data workflows and repositories that support global real estate strategies.

Reporting & Visualization

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards to track performance KPIs, communicate findings to leadership, and monitor portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases, scale reporting, and automate processes.
  • Synthesize key data trends and insights into advanced reports, dashboards, and presentations, driving actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

Insight Generation & Communication

  • Use your expertise in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL) to deliver clear and impactful insights on real estate operations and portfolio performance.
  • Communicate complex data trends effectively through reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and relevance to business needs.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor team members in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Foster a collaborative, data-driven culture within the team and across business units.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science).

Professional Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably with a focus on real estate or portfolio management.
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, summarization, and analysis using Excel and SQL (e.g., DBeaver, Snowflake, AWS).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Power BI for large dataset analysis and visualization.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Proven experience in building relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL).
  • Ability to work with various data sources and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Problem-Solving & Independence

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and lead projects from start to finish.
