As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of hybrid cloud systems and advancing groundbreaking hardware designs. Your role will involve tackling complex engineering challenges, automating processes, and ensuring robust cloud operations across our global network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation & Troubleshooting. Implement and monitor automation solutions, resolve live production issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
2. Framework Management. Manage and implement the Azure Well-Architected Framework and collaborate with security teams to maintain cloud security.
3. Technical Escalations. Handle escalations related to Silicon Cloud infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
4. Cloud Operations. Operate and manage Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Networks, balancing multiple concurrent projects.
5. Process Improvement. Identify and integrate process enhancements into the technical strategy for operational excellence.
6. Continual Learning. Stay updated on Azure services, best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination. Work with various teams and subject matter experts to achieve collective goals.

Qualifications

1. Experience. Minimum of 10 years in designing and managing Cloud and Hybrid solutions with Azure. Proven leadership experience managing sizable teams.
2. Technical Expertise. Deep understanding of cloud concepts with hands-on experience across a range of Azure cloud services.
3. Certifications. One or more certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
4. Programming Skills. Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python, etc.
5. Educational Background. BA/BS or MS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6. Preferred Skills. Experience with industry compliance standards (ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST), container orchestration solutions like Docker or Azure Kubernetes Service, and supporting hardware engineering workloads on cloud.
