We are seeking a skilled SQL Server Database Developer with a strong understanding of MS SQL Server and Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, providing quality solutions, and collaborating with onshore teams to deliver effective database solutions. This role requires expertise in T-SQL, data migration, and database performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience in Data Transformation Services (DTS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Manage data migration processes to SQL Server from various sources while ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation for development and operational processes.
• Collaborate closely with onshore IT and business teams for requirements gathering and development activities.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum methodologies for development and support.
• Optimize existing database and business logic source code to enhance performance.
• Design, test, and deploy database schemas in accordance with best practices.
• Conduct database performance tuning, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective workarounds.
• Generate performance benchmark reports for newly developed and altered functions.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.

Secondary Skills

• Familiarity with .NET technologies is advantageous; prior development experience in C# is a plus.
• Understanding of XML/XSD and its applications within database environments.
• Experience in a process-oriented environment involving support, escalation, incident management, collaboration, and customer relationship management (CRM).
• Knowledge of database analysis, design methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server 2017 or later.
• Intermediate knowledge of MSBI (SSIS/SSRS) 2016 or later.
• Proven experience in delivering reporting, database, data integration, and cube solutions.
