As a Data Services Consultant at UKG, you'll play a crucial role in data conversion within the field of Human Capital Management (HCM). Your primary responsibility will be to deliver top-quality SQL development and data consulting services to customers, ensuring accurate conversion of data from their source systems into UKG Pro. This role requires strong SQL skills, knowledge of HCM and Payroll systems, and excellent communication abilities. Additionally, familiarity with ETL tools is desired.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and conduct comprehensive data analysis, providing input to customers and internal teams on best practices for data conversion and cleanup.
- Interpret, validate, and convert various types of data from source systems to target systems, including demographic data, taxation, benefits, payroll balances, and additional tables.
- Utilize available data conversion tools, templates, and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization in compliance with approved methodologies.
- Proactively communicate with peers, internal teams, and customers to ensure project progress and effectively implement change control.
- Create necessary post-conversion documents, such as Issues and Assumptions and Tax Verification.
- Schedule and successfully complete multiple projects within required timelines.
- Provide input on data conversion methodology and process improvements.
- Maintain high productivity levels, supporting multiple projects, and meeting assigned requirements.
- Provide support and mentorship to peers, including knowledge transfer sessions on new tools and processes.
- Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with converted data and support functional project resources to promote efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
