We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Operations Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and database operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL procedures, analyzing and improving query performance, and ensuring high-quality database solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to interpret report requirements and deliver actionable insights through well-designed reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL procedures and scripts.
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
• Analyze existing SQL queries and identify opportunities for performance improvements.
• Develop optimized queries from complex queries as needed.
• Research and fetch data from databases using various query complexities.
• Build and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Debug application code and derive logic to resolve issues.
• Investigate exceptions related to asset movements.
• Develop high-quality database solutions using SQL Server.
• Implement and manage SQL Server procedures and functions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• 5-10 years of experience in SQL Database Operations Support or a similar role.
• Excellent understanding of SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Ability to think critically and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
