Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Utilize database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing to fulfill data needs.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like SQL, Python, Csharp/C++, Java, Golang, etc.
• Perform code versioning and deployments for data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD technologies for database management.
• Develop and implement data quality checks, monitoring routines, and performance optimization.
• Design and implement large-scale, high-performance data models.
• Work with multiple vendor DBMS platforms and cloud providers such as AWS.
• Experience with ETL tools, database migration, and cloud-hosted technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 8-11 years of experience in database administration, information technology, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in MySQL/Postgres/Aurora/MsSQL server administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for monitoring and automation.
• Good understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
