We are seeking a Specialist to join our global Peer and Practitioner Research team based in India. This role offers exposure to leadership-level strategic and management topics across Technology and Service Provider organizations. As a Specialist, you will investigate, analyze, and write about critical issues facing senior executives in leading global corporations. This includes conducting qualitative research methods, interviewing CXOs, performing extensive secondary literature searches, and synthesizing information to provide transformative insights. You'll be instrumental in producing a variety of research deliverables, such as large studies, white papers, case studies, presentations, webinars, and custom research requests.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute Gartner’s methodology for conducting world-class research, identifying best practices for today’s business challenges.
- Analyze and solve business problems using root cause analysis, hypothesis generation, survey design, benchmarking, and qualitative/quantitative methods.
- Conduct research by engaging with senior executives, academics, and industry experts, alongside comprehensive secondary literature reviews.
- Collaborate on creating key research outputs, ensuring precision in language and logical information organization.
- Play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, from inception through completion and presentation.
- Work closely with peers and senior stakeholders globally across India, the US, UK, and Australia.

Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Sociology, History, Philosophy, Literature, MBA, or similar fields, or a PhD.
- 0-2 years of experience in research or management consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, convey ideas effectively, engage clients, and collaborate in global teams.
