As a Solution Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing global projects within the Building Automation System (BAS) domain. Your focus will be on providing high-quality software programming solutions for HVAC systems, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to regional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management. Oversee global projects in Building Automation Systems, ensuring successful execution across assigned zones/regions/countries.
- Software Development. Develop comprehensive software programming packages for HVAC systems. This includes programming, testing, and debugging application-specific software.
- Quality Assurance. Adhere to standard QC checklists and processes to deliver high-quality programming packages. Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed required quality standards.
- Monitoring & Reporting. Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to project owners/leads.
- Risk Management. Identify potential project risks and escalate issues to team leaders as necessary.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background. Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics.
- Experience. 1 to 3 years of experience in software programming, specifically within the building technology domain for HVAC controls.
- Technical Skills. Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) fundamentals and HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, chillers, and boilers. Experience with software programming for BMS field and supervisory controllers is essential.
- Communication Skills. Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to confidently interact with stakeholders.
