Key Responsibilities

BMC Helix Development and Operations

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in BMC Helix development, including integrations and ITSM tool management.
• Design, configure, set up, and customize BMC Remedy for BMC Helix implementation.
• Implement CMDB from scratch, create and manage CMDB classes and relationships.

Data Management and Integration

• Extract and import foundational data to support ITSM modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, SRM, RKM, etc.
• Utilize data loading tools like Atrium Integrator for efficient data management.

Technical Expertise

• Hands-on involvement in software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, code reviews, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Business Workflow and ability to optimize workflows for efficiency.
• Functional knowledge of Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Objects) to enhance ITSM reporting capabilities (advantageous).

Communication and Leadership

• Strong communication skills with experience in customer interfacing and stakeholder management.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Process Adherence

• Familiarity with ITIL v3/v4 Foundation principles and process engineering.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
