Job Description

The BOLD Business Intelligence (BI) team is a centralized group responsible for managing the organization’s BI strategy, projects, and systems. Our goal is to enable data-driven decision-making by providing actionable reports and analysis. We develop and manage a latency-free enterprise data warehouse that serves as a crucial data source for various functions, including Product, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Support. The team consists of four components: Data Analysis, ETL, Data Visualization, and QA, utilizing technologies such as Snowflake, Sisense, and Microstrategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop dashboards, customized reports, and scorecards based on business requirements and UI specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Data Services team in India and the US to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write functional specifications and design documents to support development efforts.
  • Convert data into actionable insights and contribute to new product features.
  • Manage ad hoc analytic requests for OLTP and OLAP systems efficiently.
  • Review and optimize SQL queries while investigating database performance issues.

Required Skills

  1. Experience with BI Tools. Proficiency in building reports and dashboards using major BI tools, preferably Sisense and Microstrategy.
  2. Data Warehouse Knowledge. Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling and experience with data warehouse environments.
  3. Database Management. Deep experience with complex database management systems, data modeling, data warehousing, and enterprise reporting tools.
  4. Development Experience. Proven track record in designing and delivering data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
  5. Agile Environment. Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
  6. Minimum of 2.5 years in a Software Engineer role focused on Business Intelligence.
