Job Description

Gartner is seeking a full-time Salesforce Developer to join our Sales Service and Corporate Engineering team. As a Salesforce Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing customized solutions on the Salesforce Platform. Your responsibilities will include crafting Apex Classes, Triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance capabilities and maintain our Salesforce Org's codebase.

What You Will Do

  1. Solution Design. Analyze requirements and propose optimal solutions using Salesforce best practices.
  2. Development. Hands-on design, proof-of-concepts, development, and testing to support implementation activities.
  3. Customer Support. Manage critical customer cases with clear documentation and effective resolutions.
  4. Team Collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional SCRUM teams to maintain and enhance the SFDC Platform.
  5. Continuous Improvement. Research and implement SFDC best practices to enhance system productivity, scalability, and monitoring.
  6. Code Quality. Participate in code reviews, inspections, and contribute to technical design and specifications.
  7. Incident Management. Lead incident resolution with a focus on root cause analysis.

What You Will Need

  1. Experience. 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with the force.com platform and deep understanding of SFDC design principles.
  2. Technical Skills. Proficiency in Apex (including classes, triggers, batch processes, and web services), VisualForce, Lightning (Aura and LWC), Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and Force.com.
  3. Integration. Experience with third-party tool integration and web API integrations.
  4. Fundamentals. Strong grasp of software development, object-oriented design, and Salesforce CRM capabilities and constraints.

  2. Communication. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Team Player. Proactive in Agile-Scrum environments, able to work independently and collaboratively.
