Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at Google Cloud, you will contribute to developing next-generation technologies that transform how billions of users connect and interact with information. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects critical to Google's mission while collaborating with diverse teams across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Education. Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  2. Experience. Familiarity with developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

  1. Code Development. Write product or system development code that meets project requirements.
  2. Design Reviews. Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate available technologies and solutions.
  3. Code Review. Review code developed by others, providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices regarding style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  4. Documentation. Contribute to and adapt existing documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  5. Issue Resolution. Triage and debug product or system issues, analyzing the root causes and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations.
