LinkedIn is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team, where you will play a key role in architecting, designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications at LinkedIn. Key Responsibilities
- Develop Distributed Applications. Design and implement multi-tier scalable applications that handle high volumes of users and data. Ensure they are reliable and perform efficiently 24/7.
- Architecting Solutions. Make architectural decisions using both synchronous and asynchronous design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability of systems.
- Write High-Quality Code. Produce software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and integrated into continuous delivery pipelines.
- Improve Engineering Productivity. Identify areas to improve and evangelize opportunities that increase engineering productivity across teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of programming experience in Java and/or C++.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong experience with object-oriented design and development practices, particularly in Java and C++.
- Proven coding skills and the ability to learn other programming languages as needed.
- Experience in building web applications and services.
