S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our innovative team. As part of this role, you will contribute to maintaining, updating, and implementing crucial processes for business applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop innovative functionality for both existing and future applications. Key Responsibilities

1. Agile Development. Work within an Agile environment, identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks efficiently.
2. Solution Development. Design and develop solutions to meet key business needs.
3. Component Engineering. Engineer scalable components and services using industry-standard development models, languages, and tools.
4. Technical Documentation & Walkthroughs. Produce system design documents and actively participate in technical walkthroughs with team members.
5. Ownership & Responsibility. Take ownership of the full development cycle, including requirements gathering, technical specifications, design, implementation, unit testing, build and deployment processes.
6. System Maintenance. Build and maintain a reliable, high-performance environment ensuring uptime and consistency.
7. Collaboration. Work with global teams, users, business analysts, quality assurance testers, and others to ensure successful project delivery.

Basic Qualifications

1. Educational Background. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Experience. 3-5 years of hands-on software development experience.

Technical Proficiency

• Strong experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core for application development.
• Proficient in T-SQL and MS SQL Server, with a focus on stored procedures and performance analysis.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Durandal, Knockout, ReactJS, or AngularJS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern CI/CD deployment processes using Jenkins.
• Experience in supporting production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to automated unit testing.
• Experience with AWS Cloud solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with test tools like Postman and Fiddler for unit testing, performance, and load testing.
