Job Description

Our Corporate Global Marketing team is on a mission to enhance how prospective customers understand Gartner’s expert guidance and tools. We are looking for a results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team and help execute our global marketing social media strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Social Media, you will be an integral part of our high-performing, data-driven, and innovative team.

What You Will Do

  1. Content Management. Assist with scheduling, data tagging, and community management across major social media platforms.
  2. Analytics & Reporting. Support the development of reports to evaluate key metrics and ROI, informing future campaign strategies.
  3. Trend Monitoring. Stay updated with social media trends, changing algorithms, and emerging platforms to keep Gartner’s presence innovative.
  4. Research & Community Engagement. Conduct competitor research, social listening, and community management, while supporting special projects.
  5. Advocacy Program. Manage internal advocacy program operations, including targeted groups and internal newsletter curation.
  6. PR Support. Collaborate with the PR department on social media tasks, including press release scheduling and expert news coverage.

What You Will Need

  1. Experience. 1-2 years in social media marketing, preferably with a large, corporate organization.
  2. Education. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Writing/Journalism preferred.

Skills

  • Superior attention to detail for data, copywriting, and brand governance.
  • Familiarity with Canva.
  • Digitally-savvy with a keen interest in brand innovation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid, mostly remote environment.
