As a SharePoint Power Platform Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Global Learning Architecture team. You will play a key role in accelerating digital innovation by designing, creating, and engineering automated cloud solutions that drive advanced business capabilities. This role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint environments and MS Power Platform Services such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Core Responsibilities
- Accelerating Digital Innovation. You will drive the design, creation, and engineering of automated cloud solutions, helping to enhance business processes and enable advanced capabilities across the organization.
- SharePoint Online Site Administration. You will manage the SharePoint Online environment, including creating and modifying sites, managing site permissions, and ensuring efficient workflows. You will be responsible for maintaining site structures and securing access to sensitive information by managing site and document library permissions.
- Developing Power Platform Solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain solutions using MS Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This includes automating business processes, improving workflow efficiency, and creating user-friendly solutions that drive organizational success.
- Implementing SharePoint Security Architecture. You will oversee SharePoint security architecture, including group assignments and permission management, to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams. You will work closely with different teams to design and implement collaborative solutions that streamline business processes, simplify reporting, and gather data efficiently.
- Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues. As part of the technical team, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues with MS SharePoint and MS Power Platform services, ensuring that all systems are functioning smoothly and efficiently.
- Supporting GLKM and GLA Initiatives. You will assist with various technical needs in support of GLA and GLKM, such as exploring, scoping, and implementing learning authoring tools, as well as driving continuous improvement in learning processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise in SharePoint Architecture and Online. You must have a solid understanding of SharePoint architecture and SharePoint Online environments. This includes administering sites, managing permissions, and securing SharePoint assets.
- Proven SharePoint Development Experience. You should have a proven track record in developing and customizing SharePoint solutions to meet business needs. Experience managing SharePoint lists, document libraries, and permissions is essential.
- Experience with MS Power Platform. Proficiency in configuring and implementing Power Automate workflows and developing PowerApps is a key requirement. You should be familiar with PowerApps formulas, development methods, and OOTB connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Advanced JavaScript and jQuery Knowledge. Experience using JavaScript for client-side development and jQuery for enhancing user interface functionalities is essential.
- Experience with SharePoint REST API and XML. You should be knowledgeable in using SharePoint REST API for integrating external data and manipulating data using XML.
- Solid Problem-Solving Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for troubleshooting issues and ensuring solutions are optimized for performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including the creation and implementation of dashboards, metrics, and reporting solutions, is highly desired.
- Knowledge of Software Design Patterns. A deep understanding of software design patterns and best practices will be beneficial in ensuring the development of efficient and scalable solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are crucial, as you will be working closely with both technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions.
- Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment. The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment is key to succeeding in this role.
- Experience with Microsoft Forms. Familiarity with Microsoft Forms for gathering and processing data will be an advantage.
