Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow implementations and enhancements, with hands-on experience in the IT Operations Management (ITOM) module. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management solutions. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring efficient IT operations through effective configuration, scripting, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ServiceNow ITOM Module. Implement and enhance ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  2. Custom Solutions Development. Develop and modify custom patterns, troubleshoot issues, and create solutions for use cases using PowerShell, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
  3. Event Management. Configure event rules, alert rules, and sub-flows, and handle assignment rules and RegEx for effective event management.
  4. Third-Party Integrations. Manage and support integrations with third-party applications and services.
  5. CI Binding & Correlation. Understand and apply CI binding and correlation logic within ServiceNow.
  6. AIOps Solutions. Propose and implement solutions in the AIOps area, addressing complex client requirements.
  7. Agile & SCRUM. Work within Agile and SCRUM frameworks to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.

Primary Skills

  1. ServiceNow ITOM Module. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
  2. Third-Party Integrations. Experience with integrating ServiceNow with various third-party applications.
  3. CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping/Event Management. Expertise in implementing and optimizing these ServiceNow modules.
  4. Certifications. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and CIS – Event Management.

Secondary Skills

  1. CI Binding & Correlation Logic. Understanding of CI binding and correlation logic within ServiceNow.
  2. Client Solutions. Experience handling complex client scenarios and proposing solutions in the AIOps domain.
  3. Agile & SCRUM. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in ServiceNow ITOM implementations and enhancements.
  • Proficient in PowerShell/Shell scripting and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Strong understanding of third-party integrations and custom solution development.
