We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual experiences that elevate the customer journey across PhonePe’s products and marketing touchpoints. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will work closely with the product design team to integrate visually appealing design elements into our products, ensuring alignment with PhonePe’s brand identity and user-centric design principles. Your expertise in visual storytelling, design systems, and UI/UX will be critical in delivering high-quality, engaging designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with product designers to integrate visual design elements that enhance user experience across mobile apps, websites, and digital campaigns.
• Ensure all visual design assets align with PhonePe’s brand guidelines and are consistent across platforms and devices.
• Develop scalable visual design systems and best practices to ensure consistent design standards across various applications.
• Participate in design reviews, presenting your work and gathering feedback from stakeholders to iterate and refine design concepts.
• Advocate for user-centered design, ensuring that all visual solutions prioritize the end user’s needs while aligning with product and business objectives.
• From concept to production, own the visual design quality, ensuring seamless transition from design to development, maintaining quality at all stages of production.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with iterative design processes, making quick adjustments based on feedback to deliver the best user experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in visual design.
• A portfolio showcasing your best work in visual design, with a particular emphasis on digital and app design.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Familiarity with motion graphic design (knowledge of tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Blender 3D is a plus).
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and familiarity with design systems.
• Experience with in-app campaigns, and an understanding of design functionality and its impact on user experience.

Collaboration & Communication

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver pixel-perfect designs.
• Excellent communication and presentational skills, able to effectively articulate design decisions and the rationale behind them to stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
