As a UX Designer at Siemens, you will play a critical role in shaping user experiences that not only meet business goals but also delight our users. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team and work on innovative projects that make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Apply design thinking methodologies to create end-to-end user experiences that balance user needs with business objectives.
- Conduct user research, define customer requirements, and develop interactive designs that ensure usability and accessibility.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups to visualize ideas and refine user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Project Leads, Project Managers, and Development Teams to align designs with technical feasibility and project goals.
- Develop and maintain UI specifications, design guidelines, and interaction models to ensure consistency across projects.
- Utilize industry best practices to define and implement high-quality user-centered designs.
- Participate in usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate designs based on user insights.
- Ensure that final products adhere to usability standards, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design principles.
What You Bring to the Team
- Educational Background. A Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) in any engineering discipline or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience. 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in interaction design for web and mobile applications.
- Design Expertise. Strong skills in UX design methodologies, Lean UX, and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in Tools. Hands-on experience with Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Technical Skills. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Certifications. UX Design or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) certification is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills. Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
