Job Title. Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and debugging execution plans.
• Creating and managing indexes based on development cycles.
• Development experience, preferably in web-based applications.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience with significant time in relevant projects.
• Strong hands-on skills in SQL Server 2012/2016/2019.
• Designing and implementing highly optimized queries for consistent response time.
• Converting raw data into usable formats for reporting and business analytics.
• Exposure to SQL Server Reporting Services and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB) is advantageous.
• Practical experience on cloud hosting platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is desirable.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./BCA/MCA with first class (>60%) throughout in academics.
• Familiarity with source control tools like Github or Subversion (SVN).
• Exposure and practical working experience with Agile methodology.
• Flexibility to work in the afternoon shift (1 PM – 10 PM) due to overlapping with US-based teams.
