As part of the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team within Customer Experience & Success (CE&S), the Senior Technical Support Engineer plays a critical role in delivering exceptional, seamless support experiences. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to product improvements, all while enhancing your technical skills and growing your career.

Key Responsibilities
- Response and Resolution. Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues. Act as an advisor, providing expert guidance, leveraging tools and practices to diagnose problems and deliver solutions.
- Readiness & Mentorship. Lead readiness programs, share technical expertise, and mentor peers. Help build a strong community within CSS through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Learning & Growth. Deepen your technical and professional proficiency to tackle complex challenges, driving your career growth through training and readiness programs.
- Product & Process Improvement. Work with Microsoft Engineering and Supportability teams to identify potential product defects. Drive continuous improvements through the development of automation tools and diagnostic methods.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related field AND 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience, OR 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with container technology and Kubernetes.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft’s security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
