Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our high-performing team in the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey) region. In this role, you will be at the forefront of guiding organizations through their cloud journey, helping them optimize their architecture, migrate workloads, and fully embrace AWS to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to design and deliver customized, scalable cloud solutions that address the unique business challenges of our customers in the MENAT region.
• Develop high-level solutions and provide architecture recommendations for applications, security, cost, performance, and operational efficiency using AWS technologies.
• Lead deep technical discussions with customers and explain AWS's full suite of services while recommending best practices in architecture design.
• Help organizations move workloads to the cloud with AWS and ensure their migration is smooth, cost-effective, and optimized for performance.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on how to modernize their IT infrastructure, improve agility, and scale effectively in the cloud.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of existing environments and recommend tailored cloud-based solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Own the technical relationship with clients and help shape the overall sales strategy. Drive AWS revenue growth through the adoption of cloud services and infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with AWS sales teams to build account strategies, identify opportunities, and provide leadership and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist in the identification of new business opportunities and contribute to building long-term customer relationships.
• Be a trusted advisor to customers, educating them on AWS’s capabilities and best practices and helping them optimize the use of the AWS platform.
• Conduct presentations, workshops, and training sessions to build customer awareness and provide hands-on guidance on AWS solutions.
• Share AWS’s vision of the cloud and build customer confidence by demonstrating its capabilities through deep architectural discussions and use case examples.
• Work closely with the AWS engineering, product, and support teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Capture and share knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community, ensuring best practices, solution approaches, and success stories are communicated and documented.
• Engage in feedback sessions with AWS teams to influence future product and service enhancements based on customer feedback.

Key Skills & Qualifications

1. Experience. 8+ years of experience in technology-related roles such as software development, cloud computing, infrastructure, systems engineering, or network security.
2. Cloud Expertise. Proven expertise in architecting infrastructure solutions with AWS or other major cloud platforms. Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server architectures, load balancing, HA/DR, and storage solutions.
3. Design & Implementation. Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on enterprise-level applications and infrastructure solutions.
4. Strong Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Stakeholder Management. Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with senior-level stakeholders and making decisions based on both business and technical considerations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Cloud/Virtualization Solutions. Strong background in cloud/virtualization solutions, especially for enterprise customers, and experience in advising on large-scale cloud migrations.
2. Certifications. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other cloud certifications.
3. Customer-Facing Skills. Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role, with the ability to lead technical discussions and drive cloud adoption.
4. Consulting Experience. Experience in consulting for large organizations on cloud strategy, transformation, and optimization.
