Key Job Responsibilities
- Ownership. Take ownership of your work and collaborate with your team to create stable, performant, and secure software applications.
- Customer-Centric Approach. Work with customers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to bring feature ideas to life with a focus on the customer's point of view.
- Risk Mitigation. Identify and mitigate design risks early in the development process to increase the speed of implementation of backend features.
- Efficiency. Be efficient with resource usage, considering factors such as application impact on memory and CPU, caching strategies, and device compatibility.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, with expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of OpenSearch.
