We are seeking a seasoned IBMi Developer who excels as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will bring innovation and creativity to the development process and problem-solving, with a proactive approach to design and development. You should have substantial experience in legacy modernization application development and be adept in working with complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute as an individual contributor on IBMi/AS400 development projects.
- Apply innovation and creativity to problem-solving and development processes.
- Provide proactive support in the design and development phases.
- Engage in legacy modernization application development.
- Collaborate with teams for integration, testing, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Perform unit testing, identify bugs, and address issues during the testing phase.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Minimum 9 years of experience with IBMi/AS400.
- Proficient in Rational Developer for IBMi (RDi).
- Experienced in RPG IV, RPGLE, RPGSQL, and CL programming languages.
- Exposure to ROBOT Job Scheduler, IBM Client Access, and MKS Implementer Change Management Tool.
- Basic understanding of Java/J2EE technologies and messaging technologies (JMS, Webservices).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Capability to meet aggressive schedules, including occasional work beyond regular hours.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Qualifications
