Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

1. Innovate & Build. Develop and ship new features and capabilities daily within a highly scalable, globally distributed environment.
2. Collaborate. Work in an open and collaborative atmosphere alongside experienced engineers, architects, product managers, and designers.
3. Code Excellence. Review code with a strong focus on best practices, including readability, testing, documentation, reliability, security, and performance.
4. Mentorship. Share your expertise to help elevate the skills of your teammates through both formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions.
5. Operational Efficiency. Ensure full visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services.
6. Agile Development. Actively participate in Agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demo sessions.

Qualifications

Your Background

1. Experience. 6+ years of experience in building and developing backend applications.
2. Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science.
3. Technical Proficiency. Skilled in crafting and implementing scalable RESTful microservices. Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or Python.
4. Database Knowledge. Proficient in at least one database technology, such as RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) or NoSQL (DynamoDB, Cassandra).
5. Collaboration. Strong passion for collaboration, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Cloud Expertise. Broad understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industries with hands-on experience in public cloud offerings like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
7. Engineering Discipline. Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and a commitment to producing high-quality software.
