As a Senior Software Engineer on the Pixel team, you'll play a key role in designing and securing the next generation of Pixel devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance security features for future Pixel devices.
- Harden system software components crucial to Pixel security.
- Research and design innovative security solutions for mobile devices.
- Improve infrastructures for fuzzing, testing, and Continuous Integration (CI).
- Develop technical solutions to address and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in C and C++, including expertise in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in embedded development.
- Experience with mobile security and debugging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with phone security design, development, and lifecycle.
- Knowledge in authentication, encryption, certificate management, or operating system security.
- Familiarity with Hardware System Architecture, Cryptography, Security Analysis, Security-Enhanced Linux, Linux Kernel Real-Time Operating Systems, Android BSP Security Testing, Rust, and Python.
- Experience with open-source development.
