In this role, you will work with expanding data sets and cutting-edge techniques to manage both traditional and alternative data sets, applying them to credit modeling. Your contributions will be pivotal in building solutions for Webservices/API/Data Processing, providing crucial data and analytics for daily decisions in the capital and commodities markets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on developer, designing, executing, and deploying projects to solve high-impact business problems.
- Engage in all stages of product development.
- Using data science and software engineering skills to address business problems.
- Partnering with business leaders, domain experts, and end-users to understand business and data requirements.
- Perform data analysis and preparation.
- Collaborate with financial engineers and model developers to integrate models/algorithms into production systems.
- Architect scalable and resource-efficient solutions.
- Produce comprehensive system documentation.
- Enhance code quality through continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent.
- Experience in business domains related to Finance or Economics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and learning agility.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in Core Java/Scala.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS, Spark, Microservices, Spring Boot, and No-SQL data stores such as Cassandra.
