Oracle is building a next-gen streaming analytics platform designed to handle big data and real-time streaming challenges. As part of the Golden Gate Data Fabric team, you will be contributing to a platform that enables users to build data pipelines and data transformations with zero coding. This highly dynamic platform will support advanced technologies such as Apache Spark Streaming, Flink, Beam, Delta Lake, Kafka, Iceberg, and Parquet and is poised to revolutionize modern data architectures like Lake House, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize services for distributed cloud applications.
- Work with technologies like Java, ReactJS, Apache Spark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI).
- Implement, test, and maintain data pipelines and large-scale distributed systems.
- Engage in full-stack development, with exposure to both backend (Java, Cloud Services) and frontend technologies (ReactJS).
- Contribute to evolving modern data architectures and apply Data Mesh and Data Fabric concepts.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java for distributed systems.
- Strong foundation in design, data structures, algorithms, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and NoSQL/SQL databases.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks like Apache Kafka, Spark, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong experience with large-scale data processing, using Apache Spark, Flink, and other big data technologies.
- Experience in building data pipelines and familiarity with IAC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Knowledge of modern data architectures such as Lake House, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.
