As a Senior Security Solutions Architect, Digital Sovereignty, you will take on a leadership role within the Global Services, Security (GSS) team. You will advise, strategize, and deliver security and compliance outcomes for customers with sovereignty restrictions, particularly in the public sector and highly regulated industries. Your goal will be to drive successful security and sovereignty strategies across a wide variety of customers, partners, and regulators, ensuring that they meet their security, compliance, and resilience goals using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic discussions on security, risk, and compliance with AWS customers and partners facing sovereignty restrictions. Advise on how they can leverage AWS's security controls to meet their specific regulatory and security needs.
• Work with senior stakeholders within customer environments to achieve consensus on complex security challenges, driving positive outcomes for their business while adhering to sovereignty and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and deliver innovative security and compliance strategies that address sovereignty concerns, focusing on public sector and regulated industries. Recommend best practices to integrate AWS security controls within customers' existing frameworks.
• Address complex security challenges for customers, helping them meet sovereignty, security, compliance, and resilience goals using AWS services. Engage in deep-dive discussions and hands-on demonstrations to provide tailored security solutions.
• Act as a thought leader in the security domain, creating and launching customer-facing resources and industry-leading content related to sovereignty and compliance.
• Amplify customer needs and advocate for sovereignty-related requirements in AWS product and service teams. Ensure that these requirements are prioritized in future product feature roadmaps.
• Work closely with the AWS compliance team to determine the strategic direction of various AWS compliance programs based on customer feedback, ensuring AWS services meet evolving regulatory and sovereignty needs..

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics, or software development.
• 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE National with Family Book.
• 5+ years of experience in areas such as cloud computing, security, systems engineering, networking, or data analytics.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with senior executives and technical teams.
• Proficiency in English and additional language skills are a plus.
