As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the growth of Amazon’s Global Selling program in one of the MENA marketplaces. You will collaborate closely with teams across different regions, particularly in China, the USA, Europe, and India, to maximize the potential of out-of-region sellers. Your key focus will be on driving initiatives that improve Selection, Pricing, and Customer Experience for Global Selling Partners, ensuring their success in the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Oversight. Oversee and drive the progress of scaling the Global Selling program in a MENA marketplace. Ensure that sellers from outside the region are successfully integrated, growing their businesses, and contributing to Amazon's overall marketplace success.
- Data-Driven Insights. Use data and metrics to identify performance blockers, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop actionable insights to enhance selection, pricing, and the overall customer experience.
- Cross-Regional Coordination. Act as the primary liaison between MENA and international teams (China, USA, Europe, India) to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on key initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement. Partner with local leaders in MENA Seller Services, Selling Partner Support, Customer Service, and other teams within Amazon to drive process improvements and optimize key business metrics.
- Recruitment and Scaling. Lead efforts to recruit tens of thousands of new selling partners annually, ensuring a broad and diverse range of products for MENA customers. Drive strategies to scale the program and increase seller participation.
- Project Management. Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple global programs. Monitor performance, set clear objectives, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure initiatives are executed on time and meet business goals.
- Reporting and Communication. Manage reporting for global arcs (both recurrent and ad hoc) and communicate performance to senior leadership. Align internal stakeholders on priorities and team goals.
- Leadership and Influence. Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon’s global locations, ensuring that Global Selling remains a key growth driver for MENA.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record of managing complex, high-impact programs in global settings.
- Data and Metrics Expertise. Strong ability to use data and metrics to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
- End-to-End Program Ownership. Experience owning the strategy, delivery, and communication of program results, including engaging with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Fluent in Mandarin. The role requires regular interaction with selling partners in China, so fluency in both verbal and written Mandarin is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience driving process improvements in large organizations, with an emphasis on scaling and operational optimization.
- Master's degree or MBA in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Global Selling Experience. Familiarity with global selling platforms and international seller recruitment, particularly in the context of e-commerce, is highly desirable.
