Job Description

gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions team enables product areas to scale operations while managing risk. The team's objective is to empower businesses to make informed decisions in placing talent strategically. Collaborating closely with various teams across Google, they ensure a positive user experience and reduce administrative burdens throughout the Extended Workforce process. The team also plays a pivotal role in planning and strategizing Extended Workforce initiatives, providing essential tools for managing infrastructure.

The Solutions Delivery Technology team's mission is to provide technology strategy and direction that enhance efficiency through automation, improve user experiences, and ensure compliance through technical controls. By understanding and mapping business needs to appropriate technology and systems, the team facilitates efficient and effective delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product or program management.
  • 6 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience working with systems design and product design.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience implementing initiatives/projects in a change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in operations management (e.g., process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.) or in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of technical solutions, platforms, data, integrations, and constraints.
  • Ability to manage conflicting stakeholders and drive conflict resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design of an integrated roadmap that aligns business strategy with technical delivery plans, understanding strategic business needs and defining appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical development teams to successfully launch tools across different organizational units.
  • Participate in regular business and technology reviews between Extended Workforce Solutions and technology teams to ensure alignment on strategy, plans, and execution of key milestones.
  • Contribute to product/solution testing phases, including internal testing and user acceptance testing, prior to release.
  • Lead efforts to transform infrastructure by surfacing requirements, setting timelines, conducting pilots, and managing change with local partners.
