UKG is on the lookout for a Senior Product Manager to lead scrum teams in a dynamic Agile environment. The successful candidate will provide direction, clarification, and manage the requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that product development aligns with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the team has a well-prepared backlog of tasks for continuous development.
- Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog, ensuring alignment with product vision and strategic goals.
- Work closely with Product Managers to define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
- Assess the value of new features and prioritize development efforts based on business value and return on investment (ROI).
- Provide guidance on Agile best practices and ensure that the team is following Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitate iteration planning, writing, and elaborating on user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and ensure that all stakeholder requirements are met.
- Provide regular updates and demonstrations of product functionalities to stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor analysis, and new developments in HR technology.
- Mitigate impediments affecting the successful completion of release and sprint goals.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically in the Human Capital Management (HCM) or Workforce Management (WFM) domain.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant business discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and familiarity with Enterprise SaaS software solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial product management or similar roles.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
