The Azure Storage Team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive products and services that enable various cloud migration scenarios. In this highly visible role, you will work on a suite of hardware and software migration products and services. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive product strategy, ideation, and investments across a broad range of technical areas.

Responsibilities

1. Define Product Vision and Strategy. Leverage a deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market to build a compelling product vision and strategy.
2. Build Consensus. Align with internal and external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/service feature areas.
3. Identify Investment Opportunities. Evaluate trade-offs and drive the product roadmap by identifying short- and long-term investment opportunities.
4. Feature Definition. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define the feature set and iterate on multiple designs.
5. Engage Customers. Capture customer feedback, develop insights, evangelize the product, and educate stakeholders.
6. Lifecycle Management. Work across all stages of the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, program/product management, finance, and business teams.

Qualifications

Required

• Educational Background. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years in product/service/project/program management or software development.
• Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Proficiency in creating customer-centric and data-driven insights, strategy definition, and experimentation.
• Expertise in storage technologies and cloud technologies/services (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Proven ability to present plans and gain buy-in from senior technical leaders.
• Experience developing product roadmaps that deliver customer and business value across products and services.

Other Requirements

• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred

1. Advanced Experience. 7+ years in product/service/project/program management or software development.
2. Project Management. Proven track record of managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, and developing cloud technology products from inception to launch.
3. Technical Implementation. Hands-on experience across various products/projects.
4. Customer Focus. Strong customer obsession with the ability to build what customers need.
