Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager on the Feed News team, you will play a crucial role in transforming LinkedIn into the leading platform for reliable and valuable professional news. This role involves partnering with our world-class Editorial Team to develop and refine tools and algorithms that enhance news clustering, improve editorial effectiveness, and create engaging user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partnership with Editorial Team. Collaborate closely with the Editorial Team to develop algorithms and tools that effectively cluster news topics and improve the identification of breaking news and related storylines.
  2. AI Integration. Utilize AI to better match news topics with member interests and deliver value through personalized news experiences.
  3. Data-Driven Decision Making. Analyze data from various sources to inform decisions and solve customer challenges effectively.
  4. User Experience Design. Build and enhance user interfaces and experiences that are valuable, simple, and intuitive for job seekers and customers.
  5. Product Strategy. Lead the development of product strategies, detailed requirements, and planning to address key challenges and create customer value.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement. Generate buy-in and excitement among key stakeholders and executives across LinkedIn.
  7. Team Culture. Contribute to a team culture focused on high-velocity decision-making, deep care, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product management or a similar role.
  • BS/BA Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • MS degree or PhD in a technology-related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in UX/User Experience design.
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Generative AI.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and lead across multiple partner teams with strong systems thinking.
