Job Description

As a Senior MuleSoft Developer within our Technology Architecture practice, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing MuleSoft integration solutions that drive transformative business outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to complex IT projects and large-scale enterprise change programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions using MuleSoft’s suite of tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Integration Design & Development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into MuleSoft applications using RAML, Swagger (OAS), and event-driven APIs. Develop and implement APIs, batch jobs, and API-led integrations.
  2. Advanced Transformations. Utilize DataWeave for complex transformations and build robust integration applications with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  3. Application Maintenance. Enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain existing MuleSoft applications. Document application design, interface specifications, and deployment strategies.
  4. Testing & Quality Assurance. Develop unit test cases for APIs and ensure high-quality delivery through rigorous testing and troubleshooting.
  5. Technical Leadership. Work closely with internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues and implement new features or enhancements. Provide guidance on technical issues and best practices.
  6. Documentation & Communication: Create detailed documentation for design, deployment, and interface specifications. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in integration development/design/architecture.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft 4.0, including both on-premises and CloudHub 2.0 implementations.
  • Proficiency with MuleSoft APIM, ESB, SWAGGER & RAML spec design, API, DataWeave, and security policies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST, and JSON.
  • Experience with tools such as Bitbucket/Git, Eclipse, RAD, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Salesforce integration experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Toronto 2-3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer-Level 1 & 2.
  • Experience in DevOps and integration architecture implementation.
  • Java programming skills and experience with JDBC, JMS, Salesforce, and nCino.
