As a Senior Manager in our Managed Services practice, you'll partner with business leaders to tackle their toughest challenges, harnessing innovative solutions to drive sustainable change and capture new opportunities. Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership. Act as a management advisor to leading telecommunications and IT companies, including fixed, cable, mobile, and convergent service providers, as well as telecom regulators and industry bodies.
- Problem-Solving. Utilize strong telecom domain knowledge to creatively address large-scale problems for clients across India and global markets. Operate effectively in an unstructured environment and collaborate closely with project teams.
- Solution Development. Define business problems, co-create solutions, and develop project scope and approach based on leading industry practices.
- Data Analysis. Perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses, including data mining, financial modeling, and market research to provide actionable business intelligence and insights.
- Deliverables. Ensure all client commitments are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining PwC’s high standards of quality.
- Business Development. Identify and drive business development opportunities by translating thought leadership into actionable project opportunities.
- Knowledge Sharing. Develop and contribute to internal knowledge collateral to support thought leadership within and outside the firm.
- Travel. Willingness to travel internationally and work on-site 50-70% of the time at client locations.
Key Skills
- Telecom Expertise. Deep understanding of telecom CAPEX and OPEX areas, including CAPEX planning, budgeting, spend analysis, and optimization.
- Asset Management. Experience with end-to-end asset lifecycle management for telecom and IT assets, including processes, systems, and tools driving efficiency.
- Data Analytics. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Python), ETL, data modeling, and data quality enhancement.
- Network Experience. Working knowledge of telecom technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G), cloud and network virtualization, NFV, SDN, Cloud RAN, and network automation.
- Emerging Technologies. Familiarity with Cloud, IoT, and telecom frameworks (e.g., eTOM).
Education and Experience
- Experience. 1-10 years in consulting or telecommunications industry (consulting experience preferred).
- Qualifications. MBA, BE/B.Tech, CA, or relevant qualification in Telecom or equivalent.
- Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
