As a Senior Learning Manager at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in driving customer transformation in the AI era. You will collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure that training and enablement become key differentiators in customer adoption of our platforms. Your leadership in developing learning and development strategies will empower organizations to effectively leverage technologies like Azure Open AI, Copilot for M365, and Security, guiding them on their AI journey for success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Customers. Work closely with customers to analyze their training needs and develop comprehensive skilling plans focused on Azure Open AI, Copilot for M365, and Security. Align training initiatives with strategic business goals to facilitate swift technology adoption.
- Customer Relationship Building. Cultivate strong relationships with customers throughout their AI journey. Engage with C-suite stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and demonstrating the value of AI solutions. Translate customer requirements into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Pipeline Management. Maintain a robust pipeline of training opportunities. Forecast and track potential engagements regularly, aligning them with field sales streams and strategic priorities.
- Strategic Insights. Provide thought leadership on the importance of developing technical capabilities with customers. Offer strategic vision on scalability, efficiency, and impact. Translate complex AI concepts into executive-friendly narratives emphasizing ROI and competitive advantage.
- Effective Communication. Communicate effectively through written reports and high-stakes presentations. Bridge the gap between technical teams and decision-makers. Clearly articulate the value proposition of AI investments to foster understanding and buy-in at all organizational levels.
- Identify New Opportunities. Proactively identify opportunities for innovative training programs and investment areas. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands. Collaborate cross-functionally to explore new ways to enhance AI adoption and drive organizational growth.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 2+ years of experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field sales, HR, customer success, or program/project management.
- OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND/OR 1+ year(s) of experience in relevant fields mentioned above.
- 2+ years of commercial experience working with customers to drive customer success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI technologies, Azure platform, or related technical domains is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.
Compensation
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. Specific ranges apply to certain locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, ranging from USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
