The Senior Lead Analyst will be an integral part of the Card & Merchant Accounting and Control (CMAC) team within Global Financial Operations. This role involves leading the accounting and reconciliation for merchant banking processes, overseeing merchant payments, debit balances, and gross pay. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of various operational accounting activities in the credit card domain, working alongside multiple teams to maintain robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team focused on managing the financial integrity of merchant accounting processes.
- Perform critical financial activities such as daily balancing, cash corrections, and trend analysis to identify anomalies in general ledgers.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy in financial reporting for merchant payments, debit balances, and related activities.
- Manage queries from stakeholders and support technology and business initiatives such as FALCON and Project ORBIT.
- Contribute to process improvement and innovation, with a focus on financial integrity and operational resilience.
- Proactively communicate and mitigate risks, ensuring continuous adherence to best practices and financial policies.
- Build relationships with senior leaders, contributing to team strategies and organizational goals.
- Drive multiple projects that support enterprise-wide goals while maintaining operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) with 2-5 years of relevant experience OR
- CA/MBA/Post Graduate with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- US GAAP knowledge and audit experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools, and data applications like Cornerstone, TM1.

- Expertise in accounting and finance with demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams.
