Job Description

As a pivotal member of the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Operational Excellence team at American Express, you will play a crucial role in ensuring robust operational frameworks that uphold our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibility will be conducting Regulatory Business Self Testing (BST) across GCS, ensuring adherence to procedural and compliance standards. You'll have the opportunity to monitor and analyze telephonic interactions, providing essential insights for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Compliance. Execute BST procedures to assess operational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Quality Assurance. Conduct thorough checks on telephonic interactions to verify adherence to company protocols and compliance standards.
  3. Data Analysis. Utilize MS-Excel and other tools to derive actionable insights from data, enabling informed decision-making.
  4. Collaborative Improvement. Partner closely with business teams to implement remediation strategies and enhance overall compliance performance.
  5. Reporting and Insights. Generate comprehensive reports and trend analyses to inform stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Access, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of driving results and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Operational Excellence, Compliance, or Internal Audit preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like Speech miner, NICE, Salesforce, and SharePoint is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
