Job Description

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be working closely with the customer, who is a leading financial technology company offering solutions to banks and merchants for consumer loans (for home improvement, solar energy, healthcare, etc.).

The primary focus of the role will be on unit testing and UI implementation, where you will contribute to the development of the platform, enhancing user interfaces based on mockups, and ensuring robust test coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  1. UI Implementation. Develop and implement UI screens based on design mockups and specifications.
  2. Unit Testing. Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
  3. Collaboration. Work closely with the customer’s team and collaborate with other EPAM team members to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  4. Cross-browser Compatibility. Ensure the developed UI components are adaptable and functional across different browsers.
  5. Communication. Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions with both the customer’s team and EPAM colleagues.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in JavaScript development.
  • Angular expertise is a must (experience with Angular is essential for this role).
  • Ability to write cross-browser adaptive code to ensure the UI is functional on various platforms.
  • Strong experience in unit testing JavaScript applications.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in English (minimum B1+ level).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
