Responsibilities

• Develop high-performing client-side code that is fast, scalable, testable, and of high quality.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on effective solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and tackle complex bug fixes.
• Lead projects from technical design through implementation, launch, and ongoing operations.
• Onboard and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

Your Background

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS, with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai).
• Proven experience in building scalable frontend applications.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• A commitment to writing code that lasts for years, not just months.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
